In the recent Solidus Numismatik auction, ended on April 23, 2016 a nice condition Friesland 1587 ducat was available for bidding (Lot 485). Although Friesland ducats minted in the 16th century are relatively common, most of them are in VF condition. It is a condition rarity of the Friesland ducat, minted in Leeuwarden.

The coin was sold for 826 EUR = $930, incl. Buyer’s Premium fee.
